We first saw Danny Gokey at the Ameican Idol, Kansas City auditions where he sang Marvin Gaye – I Heard it Through the Grapevine. All 4 judges were immediately impressed with Danny’s singing ability (even Simon Cowell!!). Paula said that she felt the he was one of the best they had heard. Danny’s voice certainly shows that he has a natural soulful voice, and he seems to have beautiful control. Can’t wait to see more of him.
